Solution Architect - BY(Blue Yonder) WMS

• Engage closely with business users, client managers, and SMEs to understand business processes, requirements, and the overall warehouse and integration landscape for greenfield BY WMS implementations.
• Own end-to-end solution design and take independent architectural decisions, working directly with customers and stakeholders through design, build, and go-live phases.
• Lead greenfield implementation assessments, including gap analysis, feasibility and infeasibility analysis, and clearly articulate design decisions and impacts to clients.
• Define and review High-Level Solution Design, Functional Design, and Detailed Design documents aligned to Blue Yonder WMS best practices.
• Provide solution leadership across the full implementation lifecycle, covering inbound, outbound, inventory, replenishment, labour, and value-added services.
• Design scalable, high-performance BY WMS architectures, including integrations with ERP, WCS, TMS, carriers, and third-party systems.
• Propose, evaluate, and validate multiple solution options and recommend optimal approaches based on business, operational, and technical requirements.
• Apply strong knowledge of warehouse architecture patterns, performance tuning, configuration, extensions, and interface design within BY WMS.
• Collaborate with onshore, offshore, and client teams to drive technical and tactical decisions and resolve design or implementation challenges.
• Coordinate with development, testing, and deployment teams to clarify requirements, resolve queries, and ensure smooth delivery.
• Contribute to and review Proof of Concepts (POCs), prototypes, and demos to validate greenfield solution approaches with customers.
• Ensure user experience, operational efficiency, scalability, and future roadmap considerations are embedded into the solution design.
• Exposure to cloud-based deployments and hybrid architectures for BY WMS is an added advantage.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, * 8-12+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems, with strong hands-on expertise in Blue Yonder (BY) WMS.

• Proven experience leading greenfield BY WMS implementations from solution design through go-live.
• Strong functional knowledge of warehouse operations including Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Returns, and Value-Added Services.
• Expertise in solution architecture, functional design, and detailed design for BY WMS implementations.
• Hands-on experience with BY WMS configuration, extensions, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience in integration design with ERP, WCS, TMS, carrier systems, and third-party applications.
• Solid understanding of warehouse architecture patterns, scalability, high-availability design, and interface frameworks.
• Ability to perform gap analysis, feasibility assessments, and clearly articulate solution trade-offs to business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with onshore-offshore delivery models and coordinating across multiple teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact directly with clients and drive decisions independently.
• Experience in designing and delivering POCs, prototypes, and solution walkthroughs for customer validation.
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid deployment models for enterprise applications is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
