This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Project Controls team, working as a Document Controller on some of the UK's largest Transportation, National Highways, Nuclear, Defence and Infrastructure projects. You will be part of an experienced team that have a significant impact on the successful delivery of these multi-million-pound contracts, using state of the art Project Controls tools and techniques that provide concise information to the projects they support in the UK and overseas.

Your Role

  • Establish and maintain document control systems and procedures.
  • Receive, log, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Ensure documents are filed and archived according to company standards.
  • Maintain version control and ensure only current versions are in circulation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
  • Monitor document workflows and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare reports on document status and compliance.
  • Train staff on document control procedures and systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.
  • Perform administrative function on EDMS systems by assigning user roles and permissions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in document control or records management.
  • Good working knowledge of EDMS - Bentley ProjectWise, ALIM Web AssetWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Asite, Business Collaborator, Teamcenter etc.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet target deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards related to document control.
