Testing & Commissioning Engineer

• PLC Programming - writing & developing code: Allan Bradley Rockwell and PLC Siemens S7/TIA Portal
• Development of structured ladder logic, statement list, function blocks
• Set-up of system communications: EtherNet, Modbus and Profibus
• Set-up of drives: AC/DC, and inverters
• Knowledge of PID controllers for control of flow, level, pressure, temperature and humidity
• Perform testing & validation of hardware/software systems
• On site commissioning of new systems both UK and worldwide
• Conduct customer training
• Development of Robot and PLC software
• Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Programmable logic controllers?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Significant experience in PLC programming - Allen Bradley as a minimum

• PLC / SCADA system design & development
• Systems, Software & Hardware development experience
• Knowledge of Ignition systems desirable
• B.Eng / M.Eng Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic degree qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
• BTEC with significant controls experience will be considered

The role will be based out of our Telford manufacturing plants but there will be both UK and International travel involved, so the ability to travel along with a driving licence and passport is essential.
