The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering a portfolio of business and technology projects that support the organisation's strategic priorities. The role ensures projects are delivered to agreed scope, budget, quality, and timelines, while maintaining alignment with business objectives, governance standards, and prioritisation processes. Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, the Senior IT Project Manager must be comfortable managing uncertainty, ambiguity, and change, adapting delivery approaches as decisions evolve and priorities shift. What you'll do: Project Delivery & Ownership
- Own the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of IT and business change projects.
- Define and maintain clear project scope, plans, milestones, and success measures.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, quality, budget, and timelines.
- Maintain clear accountability for outcomes across all contributing teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead delivery across Technology, Product, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Security teams.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to manage dependencies and sequencing.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
Strategic Alignment & Prioritisation
- Ensure projects remain aligned to business strategy and enterprise priorities.
- Operate within established governance and business prioritisation frameworks.
- Identify conflicts between demand, capacity, and delivery constraints.
- Escalate risks, issues, and trade-off decisions to appropriate leadership forums when required.
Governance & Reporting
- Apply delivery governance standards consistently across all projects.
- Provide clear, accurate, and decision-ready reporting on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and financials.
- Prepare and contribute to steering committees and governance forums.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready project documentation and artefacts.
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify and manage project-level risks and issues.
- Develop and track mitigation and contingency plans.
- Manage cross-team and cross-project dependencies.
- Escalate material risks early, with clear options and recommendations.
Managing Change & Ambiguity
- Adapt project plans in response to changing priorities, business decisions, or external factors.
- Balance speed, quality, and risk in decision-making.
- Maintain delivery momentum in environments of uncertainty and evolving scope.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, * Proven experience delivering multiple concurrent IT projects in complex organisational environments.
- Strong understanding of technology-enabled business change.
- Experience working within formal governance and prioritisation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and changing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Accountable and delivery focused.
- Calm, structured, and credible under pressure.
- Able to influence without direct authority.
- Pragmatic, transparent, and outcome oriented.
- A minimum of 7 years project management experience, exposure in the electronic payment industry highly preferred
- Dynamic, responsible, willing to take initiative and rigorous actions
- Pro-actively report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure and independently
- Excellent analytical skill and technical problem management skill is needed
- Hands on experience in managing multiple projects
