Job description
On a daily basis, you will work closely with R&D teams in Villeurbanne and internationally to design, develop, and deliver cybersecurity software and services for Alstom products and project teams, including both rolling stock and signalling systems.
You will be particularly responsible for managing the alignment between the estimated workload and the software team's capacity, as well as ensuring quality, cost, and schedule commitments for the program's software deliverables.
You will be relied upon to:
- Define clear team objectives, organize and prioritize tasks
- Support the team in execution and technical decision-making
- Manage the balance between estimated workload and team capacity
- Contribute to the development of future cybersecurity functions for Alstom embedded products by participating in specification and software architecture definition
- Analyse and challenge product and project cybersecurity requirements before implementation in our solutions
- Lead our suppliers to coordinate developments and ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
- Propose new features aligned with the company's cybersecurity strategy and actively contribute to the Roadmap definition

Requirements
We value passion and mindset more than experience. You are not expected to meet every requirement. Instead, here is what we believe will help you succeed and thrive in this role:
- Degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Significant experience in embedded software development (Linux environment)
- Strong skills in cybersecurity and networking, ideally in the context of industrial software development
- Experience in team management and project management, including operational supervision of suppliers and/or international multisite teams
- Proficiency in complex software architectures and new digital technologies, especially microservices architectures
- Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD environments
- Ability to commit to quality, cost, and deliverables in software development projects
- Certification or proven skills in communication and leadership
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other software leaders to improve performance and efficiency across the métier
- Knowledge of Cloud solutions and/or the RUST language would be appreciated
