Data Centre / Fibre Engineer

• Installation and removal of network equipment
• Rack & stack activities
• Fibre patching, routing, and labelling
• Installation of optical modules (SFP / QSFP)
• Fibre inspection, cleaning, and verification
• Basic fibre testing where required
• Power checks and visual inspections
• Hands & eyes support in live data centre environments
• Photo documentation and task confirmation, * Local work only (no travel or accommodation provided)
• Work scheduled during standard site hours unless otherwise agreed
• All work must comply with KMS Communications' ISO-certified quality, safety, and environmental procedures
• Invoicing monthly on agreed terms

• Based in Berlin or able to commute daily
• Proven, hands-on data centre experience (essential)
• Experience working in live data centre environments
• Ability to work independently to written scopes and method statements
• Fluent English (spoken and written - essential)
• High attention to detail, safety awareness, and documentation standards
