Conceptualize, design, plan, operate, and continuously improve complex and heterogeneous network infrastructures.

Implement and manage SD-WAN architectures, coordinate external service providers, ensure stable WAN/LAN/WLAN operations, and drive ongoing enhancement of security architectures.

Safeguard the reliability, performance, and scalability of the global network and security landscape to support business-critical operations.

Lead or contribute to network and security-related projects, including global rollouts, infrastructure modernization, and cloud or hybrid integrations.

Act as a senior technical advisor for network and security topics, supporting internal stakeholders with expert guidance and troubleshooting

Design, plan, operate, and evolve complex network infrastructures, ensuring seamless functionality of WAN/LAN/WLAN systems.

Independently devise and implement solution strategies to harmonize the network infrastructure, addressing any complexity arising from diverse components.

Drive the migration and continuous enhancement of the contracted SD-WAN platform, ensuring long-term performance, renewal readiness, and alignment with modern technologies including AWS Networking and Zscaler.

Coordinate, manage, and monitor Service Level Agreements with external service providers for WAN, Network Acceleration, Proxy, and AWS services.

Continuously improve security architectures to maximize protection of networks and systems, collaborating closely with the Security Officer.

Independently manage network projects, including overseeing external service providers and project team members, and ensuring successful project implementation.

Create comprehensive network and network-related security documentation to maintain a clear record of configurations and protocols.

Demonstrate excellent knowledge and proficiency in routing and switching, TCP/IP designs, routing protocols, MPLS, firewalls, Quality of Service, WLAN, and network security.

Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in network and security architectures, technologies, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge in project management and implementation methods.
- Proactive approach to develop strategies to enhance network reliability, scalability, and security.
- Commitment to continuously optimizing the organization´s network performance and security posture.
- IT-related University degree or equivalent technical education.
- 10+ years´ experience in similar IT functions with growing responsibility and project management experience
- Excellent expertise in the areas of: Routing and Switching, TCP/IP Designs, Routing Protocols, MPLS, SD-WAN, Firewalls, Quality of Service, WLAN, Network Security.
- Experience with public cloud providers and SD-WAN.
- Leadership experience in introduction and migration projects in the field of networks and related IT security initiatives.
- Work experience in an international and multicultural environment.
