Job description
As a highly skilled and motivated Associate Software Integration & Test Engineer, you will be working with experienced colleagues supporting integration & test activities across a range of projects in the Defence and Security domains., * Support the build, integration and testing of bespoke and COTS simulation systems to create a synthetic training environment that performs to the defined requirements
- Interface with key internal stakeholders in the hardware, software or firmware teams and technical leadership
- Troubleshooting and problem solving during the integration of complex systems
- Undertake regression, functional and performance testing
Requirements
- Experience in the integration, test and delivery of complex software systems to verify and validate a system against its requirements within the defence or adjacent sectors
- Experience developing robust & accurate system level test plans, cases and procedures
- Experience of regression, functional or performance testing
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience using, configuring and integrating COTS software products
- Experience of change control, configuration management and defect tracking processes and systems
Essential qualifications for the Associate Software Integration & Test Engineer:
- Degree Level qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent and relevant experience will be considered
- ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst
