Job description
You will play a key role in delivering green-field cloud platforms, defining enterprise-grade integration approaches, and supporting multi-step migration programmes across AWS and Azure., * Contribute to the design and delivery of modern cloud platforms across AWS and Azure.
-
Define and implement enterprise-level integration patterns across complex, distributed systems.
-
Support multi-step, phased migration programmes (non-big bang), ensuring consistent system interaction across migration states.
-
Evaluate and design integration approaches including:
-
Batch vs real-time
-
File-based vs API-based
-
Loose vs tight coupling
Support service-to-service communication and interaction patterns across platforms and cloud services.
Work with lower-tier (test) environments that may be ahead of production in migration sequencing, ensuring alignment and compatibility.
Build and architect CI/CD pipelines and support the route-to-live process for platform and integration changes.
Produce clear documentation of platform designs, integration patterns, and operational procedures for audit and delivery teams.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure consistent patterns and standards across the platform.
(Desirable) Contribute to secure-by-design principles where relevant, working alongside security colleagues - security experience is advantageous but not essential.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Integration Architect with strong expertise designing interaction patterns, migration pathways, and multi-cloud platform connectivity within a highly regulated financial and data-sensitive environment., * Strong experience as an Integration or Cloud Architect within enterprise-scale, regulated environments.
-
Experience designing enterprise-level integration approaches (not API payload/SOAP/XML-focused).
-
Demonstrable background supporting multi-phase migration programmes, ideally involving cloud or hybrid environments.
-
Understanding of integration styles and trade-offs:
-
Batch vs real-time
-
File-based vs API-based
-
Loose vs tight coupling
Experience supporting route-to-live (RTL) changes across environments, including test layers operating ahead of production.
Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines and supporting deployment pathways.
Multi-cloud exposure (AWS essential; Azure desirable).
Strong communication and documentation skills for architectural, operational, and audit use.
Security knowledge is beneficial but not required for the role.
