Mac Engineer

We require an experienced Mac Engineer to join a Next Generation Devices Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced enterprise environment, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge Apple technologies to users across the business.

What you'll do

• Support the deployment and management of Apple devices as part of the Next Generation Devices Programme
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for macOS users across the global organisation
• Manage and maintain Apple-specific Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using shell scripting and macOS command line (Terminal)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a large-scale, multi-site environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve device performance, user experience, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and documentation

• Solid hands-on experience supporting and engineering macOS in enterprise environments
• Proven experience managing Apple MDM solutions (e.g. Jamf, Kandji, Intune, or similar)
• Strong preference for Kandji experience
• Strong familiarity with Terminal, command-line tools, and shell scripting
• Background in 2nd/3rd line technical support for macOS environments
• Demonstrated ability to operate in large and complex organisational settings
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
• A proactive, can-do attitude, with a genuine curiosity for learning new technologies and improving systems

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in automation or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, or Zsh)
• Knowledge of enterprise integration between macOS and corporate systems (e.g. Active Directory, networking, security)
• Exposure to Windows or cross-platform support environments
