Job Description This is a hands-on, strategic role for a Power BI expert who thrives in greenfield environments. You'll establish Power BI as our core visualisation platform, design scalable dashboards, and enable smarter decision-making across finance, risk, operations, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models Collaborate with data teams and business units to define and deliver insights Set up Power BI governance, standards, and best practices Train users and promote self-service analytics Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security Integrate Power BI with systems including Fabric, SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms Travel to regional offices as needed to support engagement and training Qualifications Proven Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Familiarity with financial and professional services data is a plus Comfortable working independently in a newly forming data function Willingness to travel across the UK occasionally Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric data engineering is desirable Additional Information A chance to shape our visual analytics strategy from day one Supportive leadership and investment in data capability Flexible working across home, office, and travel Access to training, certifications, and career growth A collaborative, mission-driven culture Workplace type: Hybrid Responsibilities The Power BI Specialist will design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models while collaborating with data teams to deliver insights.
