Job description

Mission of the Role: A strategic and technically accomplished Manager of Display Applications Engineering to lead the integration of automotive display systems into vehicle platforms. This role drives cross-functional execution, customer satisfaction, and product excellence, with direct impact on program success and business outcomes. Key Objectives of the Role:

  • Application Management: Lead the deployment of display technologies across vehicle platforms, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, program timelines, and industry standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and technical direction to OEMs and internal teams, resolving complex challenges and enabling successful product launches.
  • Validation & Quality Assurance: Oversee validation strategies and execution to ensure display systems meet performance, reliability, and compliance benchmarks.
  • Issue Resolution: Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of technical issues during development and production, ensuring minimal disruption and high customer confidence.
  • Requirements Management: Define, refine, and manage system-level requirements to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
  • Documentation Excellence: Ensure high-quality documentation of application designs, validation plans, and test results to support traceability and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives that enhance application performance, reduce development cycles, and optimize cost without compromising quality.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Program delivery metrics (on-time, on-budget, quality targets).
  • Customer satisfaction and technical engagement scores.
  • Compliance with application and validation requirements.
  • Efficiency of issue resolution and support processes.
  • Strength of collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Year One Deliverables:

  • Deliver robust technical solutions for OEM display programs.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction through proactive technical support and engagement., Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Global Vice President - Displays product line. Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field); advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in automotive display systems, with leadership in application launch and integration.
  • Deep understanding of display technologies, system architecture, and validation methodologies.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Proficiency in hardware/software/mechanical design principles.
  • Skilled in supplier collaboration, part selection, and commercial negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills for global stakeholder engagement.
