Job description
The mission of a Syndigo Solutions Architect is to be the liaison between the world of data management and our business stakeholders. Daily, you will drive value for our customers by delivering functional and non-functional requirements, use-cases, process models and impact analyses. This role will collaborate with external and internal cross-functional teams as well as technical teams to align the app to the client's expectations. The Solutions Architect will also work with stakeholders to define and develop data ingestion, validation, and transformation strategies to best suit business needs and objectives.
HOW WE'LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Objectively understand the data management challenges and the vision of how clients are working to align their data strategy with their business strategy
- Gather, understand, and analyze requirements of business use cases and document the requirements related to Master Data Management (MDM - Products, Customers, Vendors)
- Conduct workshops, research, analysis, and create various documents (functional (75%), technical (25%)) needed to support the client's Product Information Management (PIM)/MDM initiatives.
- Design data model and architecture related to building efficient and timely data ingestion and transformation processes.
- Design an IT solution and architecture to meet the requirements - Data model design, workflow process design (swimlane diagrams) with security based on user roles (data governance), integration design and channels for integration that are appropriate for business need.
- Recommend solutions, obtain approval on business requirements, and the functional designs document. Participate in and lead (in some cases) business analysis and functional design sessions.
- Evaluate new technologies and capabilities aligned with business objectives.
- Manage code deployment to various environments.
- Analyze data volumes to determine the processing and storage needed for the system to optimize performance.
- Liaison with the product/engineering team & Operations team on product functionalities, feature requests and enhancements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot data issues, recognizing common data integration and transformation patterns.
- Estimate, track, and communicate the status of assigned items to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Documents the methodology for all the stages of the app development cycle (business test scenarios, final solution).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web services?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 3+ years' experience in Business Analysis, Business / IT Integration (Functional/Technical).
- 2+ years' experience in Data Management / Governance / Data Analysis and Reporting
- 2+ years' experience in Business Process Optimization for Re-Engineering
- Basic knowledge of scripting/programming languages (JavaScript/Python/Java).
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and knowledge of relational database is required.
- 1+ years' experience in MDM, PIM, data governance, data warehousing, business intelligence or data visualization a plus.
- Cloud Technologies and Services / Azure Blob store/Azure EventHub experience
- AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, Web Services, WCF, RESTful API
- Postman, Visual Code experience
- GIT, TFS experience
- SharePoint experience
- JIRA, Syndigo Enterprise Data Suite, TFS, and Confluence experience
