Job description
As a Network Engineer you will design, develop and test the network capabilities for the combat management system containing operator consoles, radar systems and optical sensor systems. The CMS Infrastructure team is responsible for the entire development chain - requirements analysis, development, testing, validation and demonstrating the current status of the product.

Relevant Experiences:
- Network Technologies (must-have): Over 3 years of experience with network technologies like: Routing, Switching, OSPF, PIM Multicast & Firewalling (Cisco IOS-XE, CCNA certification is required, CCNP certification is a plus).
- IT Security (must-have): Experience with Firewalling, cyber security and compliance regulation (e.g., Cisco ASA, OpenScap, Nessus, DISA STIG).
- Linux (must-have): Over 3 years of experience (Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus).
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Ansible and Python, certification or demonstrable knowledge is a plus.
- Software Maintenance: Experience maintaining software across Operating System releases is a plus.
- Tools and Technologies: Experience with or a willingness to quickly learn the following: Build pipelines and support tooling (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira).
- Scaled scrum: experience is a plus.
You hold a bachelor or master degree in computer science, IT service management, system & network engineering or comparable. Your colleagues are recognized experts in the field and will help you get up to speed. Thales will gladly invest in your development.
