This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with just two days a week required on-site in Dorset. You'll enjoy the freedom to balance remote work with in-person collaboration, all within a supportive environment that truly values work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing across web applications, microservices and backend services.
Investigate and reproduce live issues, collaborating with operational and development teams to identify root causes.
Participate in daily stand-ups and work closely with developers, testers, and operations to manage priorities and deliver user stories.
Create and maintain test plans using industry-standard tools.
Conduct sprint testing, system testing and regression testing within an Agile development environment.
Requirements
Solid manual testing experience.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Experience testing web applications.
Strong problem-solving skills testing complex systems
Ability to work independently and within a small team (this must be face-to-face and via Teams)
Comfortable with hybrid working.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Proven ability to create and maintain test plans.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with UI test automation tools (e.g., Cypress), performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter), and test management tools is advantageous. The role will not offer much in the way of test automation but we would like somebody who understands what it is and can automated tests but not creating them.
