Our client supports a global customer base and is seeking a proactive, technically astute individual who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing role. This role offers significant exposure, including international travel to support installations, training, and system implementation.
ATE Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote support for ATE hardware and software systems.
Collaborate with internal design teams to implement and validate custom test solutions.
Develop and debug ATE test sequences, calibration sequences, and hardware interfaces.
Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize system downtime and improve test efficiency.
Deliver end-user training, technical documentation, and presentations.
Support system installations, upgrades, and modifications globally.
Engage with clients to gather feedback and improve product offerings.
Ensure solutions comply with internal quality processes and industry standards.
Requirements
Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong background in electronics design, embedded systems, or test engineering.
Familiarity with ATE platforms and associated software tools.
Programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or PowerStar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and customer engagement experience.
Willingness to travel regularly, both within the UK and internationally.
