Azure Cloud Architect

Your Role

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will design, build, and operate scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions hosted in Azure and Hybrid-Cloud Environments. You will lead the Azure cloud projects to interact with customer stakeholders to gather inputs, plan, design, and enablement of Azure services. You are expected to possess architect level expertise for Azure 'Infrastructure as a service' offerings, while being able to plan and advice customer stakeholders and technical teams on components, services and dependencies of Azure services such as Azure AD, hybrid deployment, security of cloud solutions, cost management etc.

You will apply expertise in technical and consulting knowledge in advising clients and designing systems to support customer needs. In addition, this role assists with customer relationships, proposal development change requirements and marketing/PR initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for people, project, and program management, typically for projects of moderate-to-large size and complexity.

We work with the largest organizations in Belgium in various industries, which guarantees challenging and diverse work. The scale of the projects at our enterprise customers naturally brings additional challenges and opportunities. Some projects may last a year, others a little longer or shorter. The variety of projects gives you the opportunity to develop quickly and gain experience in different environments.

Your day-to-day activities will be to work on some of the largest and leading-edge projects, leading our customers cloud transformation and operations initiatives. Deploy solutions across the Azure platform for major enterprise projects, where you own the technical architecture and direction for that client. You design and maintain observability metrics for applications and the infrastructure we support and create systems, tools & processes that will enhance our clients' support and operations.

Do you have experience in Visual Studio?, * You have a passion for Microsoft technology and a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and emerging computing trends.

• You are an expert on Azure Cloud, have a strong background and technical experience in the Azure environment, migrations, and development, and want to grow further in this role.
• Solve complex technical challenges with infrastructure solutions (cloud and on-premises, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, cloud technologies), automation, scripting and DevOps
• You have experience with Microsoft technologies, including at least five years of working experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, …), Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes;
• You have pre-sales and delivery experience with a consulting and complex project delivery background.
• You enjoy and find it important to keep up to date with the latest developments and want to put them into practice with our customers.
