Job description

As part of the company's decarbonization strategy, a new software team is being created, focused on real-time energy management and asset flexibility, including:

Batteries
Renewable energy parks
Industrial and commercial flexible consumption assets

The team works closely with business experts, architects, and other IT teams on innovative, mission-critical systems.

Your Role

As a Software Developer, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle:

Analyze and clarify functional requirements with business and domain experts
Design technical solutions and architectures (APIs, services, data flows)
Develop backend services and real-time APIs
Work in an agile environment with incremental deliveries
Write unit, integration, and validation tests
Contribute to documentation and user support
Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide Level 2 support
Actively help shape the culture and working practices of a new team

To launch a new development team, we are looking for 2 medior .NET developers and one senior developer with Python experience who want to help build real-time software for controlling and balancing energy systems., * 5+ years of experience as a software developer

Strong proficiency in .NET (C#)
Practical experience with Python (preferably async programming)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Experience with Azure (cloud services, deployments)
Knowledge of event-driven and distributed systems
Focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
Experience working in agile environments, * Experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or MQTT
Experience with Redis and/or PostgreSQL
CI/CD experience (e.g. GitHub Actions)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform)
Experience with Scala or Rust
