Job description
As a Backend Developer (Go), you will play a key role in modernizing a large-scale platform by shaping cloud-native services that support millions of users. This role focuses on building resilient backend foundations, influencing architectural decisions, and driving long-term technical evolution. You'll work in a product-oriented, ownership-driven environment that values clean design, autonomy, and continuous improvement. It's a strong opportunity to grow while contributing to meaningful, high-impact systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and develop scalable microservices using Golang for transactional systems and/or Kotlin for Backend-for-Frontends (BFF);
- Take ownership of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code);
- Migrate data and logic from a legacy PHP monolith to Cloud SQL/Spanner;
- Collaborate with mobile engineers to define API schemas and requirements;
- Ensure high performance and reliability of services deployed to Cloud Run/GKE
Requirements

5+ years of backend software development experience;

Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and/or Kotlin (server-side);

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery);

Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools;

Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems;

Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases;

Upper-intermediate English level. NICE TO HAVES

Ability to read and understand PHP;

Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers;

Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
