Job description
- Install, commission and quality-check racks, cabinets and network hardware across data centres, exchange sites and street cabinets, supporting GoFibre's ongoing network rollout in the Aberdeen area
- Work closely with our Network Architect and Network Engineering team during hardware turn-ups and validation, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real-world network build design
- Deliver high-standard cable management, labelling and as-built documentation, ensuring every installation meets GoFibre's safety, build and growth-ready standards
- Work independently on site. From surveys to installation, issue resolution, taking ownership of your tasks and applying practical solutions when unexpected challenges arise
- Support the continual expansion of our XGSPON-based network, contributing directly to GoFibre's wider growth and the scaling of our modern fibre infrastructure
- Troubleshoot physical-layer issues and assist with network-impacting faults, ensuring minimal disruption and high availability
- Follow all health and safety procedures rigorously while helping to refine installation methods, workflows and best practice for future builds
Requirements
Do you have experience in Juniper?, * Strong technical skills in racking, stacking, cabling and commissioning equipment such as Juniper, Nokia and Eaton
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially when it comes to cable management, installation quality and documentation
- Confidence working independently on site, taking ownership of installations and resolving physical-layer issues
- Calm, practical problem-solving , able to adapt to unexpected site constraints or design changes without compromising safety
- Clear, professional communication with project teams, NOC, planners and site contacts, adjusting your style for non-technical audiences

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
