From Drivers to Technicians, Customer Experience experts to Site Managers, Engineers to Electricians, we come together as a team of experts, to do more for our customers How you'll power our business as a Graduate Design Engineer As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will provide technical support to the business and cost-effective designs based upon customer requirements in line with Flogas' established standard designs to ensure continuity across all sectors. With support from the wider team,you will learn to develop, lead and support the design aspects of various Flogas Customer and Depots upgrades and new installation projects on LPG, LNG and Metered Estates.

We're already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. Develop innovative design solutions to client's briefs with input from strategic design partners, project design teams and subcontractors utilising a standardised approach wherever possible

Develop relationships with clients during early concept stages; manage expectations of the individual projects through regular communication and discussions regarding requirements and specifications

Periodically, specific projects will emerge requiring the input of the Graduate Design Engineer. These may include, but shall not limited to, areas such as the following

Combined Heat & Power (Nat gas, LPG & Biomass fuelled) - Investigate business case, identify incentives available, evaluate suppliers and make recommendations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Outlook?, * Graduate in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Competent user of MS packages including: Outlook, Excel, Word

Ability to communicate with a range of people at all levels, both verbally and in writing

AutoCAD would be desirable, but not essential

Ability to plan, organise and project manage

Ability to write detailed and organize technical documentation such reports and standard procedures etc.

Basic experience of using CAD software at university level.
