The Senior Systems Administrator's (UNIX/Linus OS) responsibilities include system hardening, patch compliance, virtualization support, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-availability services aligned with Army cybersecurity and operational standards., The Senior Systems Administrator (UNIX/Linux OS) role provides advanced engineering, administration, and sustainment of U.S. Army Network and Cyber Operations Linux and UNIX-based enterprise server environments. This position ensures the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems supporting DoDIN-A operations across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and RCC-E data centers. Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science OR
Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience
Experience
Four (4) years of experience using and maintaining UNIX or RedHat Systems on "Server Based OS"
experience.
Two (2) years of experience with (HP-UX, Solaris, or RedHat Linux based applications);
Two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems., * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
