The Systems Administrator (Windows OS) role is responsible for Windows operating system administration, directory & identity service support, Patch, IAVA & vulnerability management, troubleshooting and incident support and documentation & compliance reporting. Overview:
The Systems Administrator (Windows OS) role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of Windows-based systems that support U.S. Army Network and Cyber Operations operations across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and other mission networks. This position ensures secure configurations, service availability, patch compliance, account and group management, and full alignment with Army cybersecurity, IAVA, and DISA STIG requirements. Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science OR
Associate's degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience
Experience
Four (4) years of experience using and maintaining Microsoft Server Based OS experience.
Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Server Based Products, such as, MSSQL, HYPER V, Live Communications;
Two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
Certification
- MCSA (2012 or 2016)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or
- Azure Administrator Associate or
- Administrator Expert or
- Security Operations Analyst Associate or
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds.
