Job description

We are seeking a proficient Product/Project Manager to assist us in guiding our product development initiatives. Our Agile team, based in various locations with headquarters in Bonn, Germany, handles the full software development lifecycle; from initiation to implementation and operation of physical access control software operating multiple electronic locks across different radio protocols and RFID identification media., * Develop, maintain, and execute project goals and objectives in alignment with the company's strategy.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products.
  • Manage relationships between the customer and the development teams, ensuring transparency and enhancing partnership collaboration.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and translating customer feedback and requests into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Propose innovations and improvements within both the project and company level.
  • Measure team performance using defined tools, and techniques to ensure reliable productivity.
  • Be a leader and motivator for a team. Facilitate team meetings, 1-2-1s and day-to-day communication with the team members.
  • Organize the high-quality and effective delivery within strict industry standards and security requirements.
  • Communicate project progress, strategies, and plans to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, including engineering, QA and sales, to deliver successful projects.
  • Identify potential risks and issues within the project and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in IT project management and coordinating Agile teams.

  • Experience in PDL and delivering successful software products from concept to launch.

  • Ability to analyze project requirements, identify dependencies and potential risks, and develop strategies to achieve project goals within specified timelines.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Advanced Business English language knowledge.

  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM / Kanban).

  • Skilled in coordinating project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.

  • Strong people management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Nice to have:

  • Experience with IoT products in building automation and physical access control.

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Understanding of general security concepts.

  • Product and Project management portfolios

  • German language skills.
