Job description
Ebury's strategic growth plan would not be possible without our Data Analytics & Reporting team and we are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Treasury domain!
Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury's Data Platform and serve it to the whole company. This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to monitor our Treasury positions and risks, comply with regulatory reporting obligations and enables commercial opportunities globally.
The Data team works closely with Treasury, Product and Tech teams to coordinate and implement data analysis initiatives helping the Cash management, ALM and Treasury Reporting teams. Some of the projects we are currently working on include: MtM valuations reconciliation with our Treasury reporting system to ensure completeness and accuracy in our Financial statements, cash operational charges data analysis to reduce Treasury costs, liquidity data analysis to help ALM team manage daily liquidity obligations and many many more!
What you'll do
- Work closely with the rest of the Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Treasury and Product teams
- Be responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to perform critical Treasury data analysis and build reports and reconciliations for the Treasury domain
- Manage end-to-end treasury solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our treasury stakeholders and auditors
- Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Treasury teams to monitor reporting and controls
Requirements

2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - applied to Treasury or Finance is a plus!

Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queries

Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus!) We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, LookerStudio), Looker

Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format

Experience working with Python is a plus

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment

Track record of working autonomously with time management skills

Fluency in English

Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc) is a good plus!
