For one of our offices in the Netherlands, we are seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Supply Chain Management Consultant who enjoys working at the crossroads of IT and supply chain operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across an international organisation, acting as a trusted partner who translates business needs into smart, scalable digital solutions.
You will leverage your expertise to understand supply chain challenges and convert them into clear, practical outcomes. You will guide the implementation of IT applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform, helping teams work more efficiently and contributing to organisation-wide process optimisation.
You will collaborate with fellow consultants as part of a global rollout of Dynamics 365, providing support both locally and internationally. We're looking for someone with an agile mindset who enjoys inspiring and guiding others to adopt new solutions, enabling teams worldwide to work smarter and more effectively.Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and define supply chain business requirements, considering technical feasibility, budget, timelines, and existing architectural standards, while ensuring compliance with relevant quality guidelines.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications to support technical design and project planning.
- Support the full project lifecycle - from identifying challenges to implementing and maintaining solutions - in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Train, coach, and support internal users to help them feel confident using the applications.
- Act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders, enabling them to adopt and leverage IT applications effectively.
- Promote and stimulate agile development and drive continuous improvement of the IT application landscape.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Dynamics 365 F&O SCM, particularly in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of Prince2, Lean, Scrum, and/or Agile methodologies.
- Comfortable working in an international, cross-border environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Strong interest in business processes and change management.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
