Job description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this position, you will maintain server systems, provide user support via our ITSM System, and participate in various IT projects across our European locations and globally. You will report to the IT Team Lead and travel to our German site in Gustavsburg (near Mainz) for one week each month. Your Responsibilities
- Manage and support the Navision BC/2009 ERP system.
- Assemble and repair computer systems, install operating systems and software, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Set up and disconnect network connections as needed.
- Provide help desk support and track user requests.
- Assist system users with a wide range of computer-related tasks.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance.
- Keep IT documentation and schedules up to date.
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain process and production equipment.
- Collaborate with Operations to develop new processes and procedures.
- Manage security for computers, servers, and network equipment.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's in information technology or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and repair.
- Advanced skills in MS Office.
- In-depth experience with Navision BC and its 2009 version.
- Background in IT customer service.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to support our sites in the Netherlands and Germany; travel required.
