Principal Developer (SQL)

• Act as the technical lead for a variety of client implementations
• Shape solution design and ensure strong delivery standards
• Engage in SQL development and data analysis for complex elements
• Set technical direction and support developers in their growth
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet high standards
• Provide guidance during testing phases and help resolve issues
• Act as an escalation point for technical challenges

• Advanced SQL development skills with expertise in querying, transformation, and performance optimization (any platform)
• Experience within financial services, FinTech, insurance, banking, or similar data-heavy environments
• Proven track record in leading technical delivery or implementation projects
• Experience supporting or managing small development teams
• Understanding of the full software development and implementation lifecycle
• Skills in managing scope, change control, and ensuring quality throughout delivery
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (such as Power BI, SSRS, or equivalent) or low-code configuration tools is a plus, but not essential
