Job description

  • Conduct technical analysis at project feasibility stage including systems and technical input required for business cases and associated documentation
  • Contribute to the development of IT roadmaps, reference Network architectures, patterns and standards to support industry best practice for Intelligent Process Automation
  • Represent and explain the Network technical requirements and constraints of the project/programme to stakeholders and advise on associated technical constraints, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Produce robust, fit-for-purpose high-level and detailed functional and technical system designs covering Integration, Data, Infrastructure/Platform and Security to functional and non-functional requirements
  • Represent the project/programme designs to the IT Design Authority and ensure compliance to reference Network architectures, patterns and standards
  • Act as the Network lead technology consultant for Intelligent Process Automation and assigned projects and programmes
  • Produce supporting technical outputs as required, from high-level business-facing documentation to low-level detailed specifications
  • Work with 3rd party vendors and suppliers to ensure solution compliance to reference architectures and information security policies
  • Assist in the creation of Network solution assessment criteria for product selections
  • Assist/lead technical workshops and meetings with internal technical customers, stakeholders, and external suppliers
  • Support IPA Discovery with the definition of process design documentation, maximizing benefits of process automation
  • Support IPA Delivery ensuring that Technical Resources maintain effective configuration standards and perform user acceptance testing
  • Support the process automation through the hypercare process, ensuring the automation operates effectively in a production environment

  • Load Balancing, We are looking for a Network Technical Solution Architect to join our team in Leamington Spa / Warwickshire / West Midlands on an onsite basis. In this role, you will contribute to critical projects within our organization, ensuring the alignment of technical solutions with our strategic goals. Requirements

  • Educated to bachelors degree level or above, preferably in a computing, systems or science/engineering-related subject
  • Proven track record as a Solution Architect delivering appropriate software application designs integrating cross-technology solutions
  • Relevant and current software development/engineering experience
  • High quality designs encompassing full error handling, monitoring and logging
  • Good understanding of best practices for development of security standards compliant systems
  • Ability to deliver pragmatic solutions balancing project/programme constraints against strategic direction, reaching compromise where needed
  • Proven ability to identify practical solutions and improvements, expressing complex ideas in clear business language
  • Proven ability to think strategically, analyse data and develop innovative, effective solutions
  • Experience in setting and governing technical standards in RPA and/or coding or other digital technologies
  • Experience in leading or supervising technical teams
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and drive others to do the same
  • Excellent collaborator able to bring cross-functional teams together
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and conflicting priorities
  • Uses initiative to proactively address day-to-day issues
  • Experience working in transformation projects using Agile methodologies in demanding corporate environments
  • Willingness to investigate and experiment with emerging technology to keep the IPA COE leading-edge
