Job description
- Engage in and consult on non-functional, architectural, and design-led discussions and decision-making
- Undertake technical roles in advanced data techniques, including modeling, access, integration, and visualization
- Define and implement the enterprise data roadmap and corporate data framework
- Create and document the information architecture and detailed migration steps for evolving business needs
- Provide leadership in establishing storage and analytic environments for various data types
- Offer technical advice and support to developers and other architects regarding data architecture
- Analyze new business requirements to ensure compliance with standards for reliability, scalability, and availability
- Identify technical and business risks associated with architectural decisions and roadmaps, At Adroit People, we are seeking an Enterprise Data Architect for a one-year fixed-term contract in Glasgow, UK. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work 2 to 3 days per week from the office. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data visualization techniques
- Familiarity with advanced data analytics systems and enterprise data warehousing
- Proficient in database design and implementation
- Experience in creating information architecture and roadmaps
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze business requirements from a data architecture perspective
- Strong understanding of technical and business risks related to data architecture
- Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
