25211103 - Modern Workplace Solution Architect

Due to continued growth at DXC we are looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Pre- Sales Solution Architect to work in a high paced collaborative and supportive team. Responsible for design, development and integration of IT or IT-enabled services and solutions for external clients for their business needs including technology, service delivery and commercial aspects. Serving as a trusted advisor to internal and/or external clients for understanding the business/technical problem/need, translating them to, shaping and/or validating requirements and scope for the solution. Serving as a technical expert on solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. Possessing analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a strong understanding of the capabilities that DXC and partners provide. Responsible for sizing and costing of the architected solution. Responsible for creating the written proposal of the solution and governing it internally for its deliverability. Responsible for aligning the commercial aspects of client engagement (SOWs, project plans etc.) with the technical delivery solution. Responsible for presenting the solution to client and serve as trusted advisor to establish client confidence.

Essential Job Skills/Functions:

• Experienced Modern Workplace pre-sales solution architect
• Experience working on complex UK government bids
• Hold or eligible for UK Security Clearance
• Translate the clients tendered requirements into a written and costed proposal response.
• Collaborate with other solution architects to deliver technical solutions that meet client's requirements.
• Work with Delivery/Operation leaders to agree solution and resourcing profiles
• Present solution to internal approvers ahead of submission
• Participate and present at client workshops.
• Work effectively in a team, contributing to bid success.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, several years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role in solution architecture or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and team lead skill.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams on Modern Workplace bids
• Successful involvement in Modern Workplace solution implementation projects
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
