Lead Data Analytics Engineer - Fabric, SQL, Python, PySpark, ETL/ELT, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data pipeline, Power BI, Gold layer, Semantic Modelling, Tuning Mainly Remote (2d MONTH LDN)
This is a fantastic Lead Data Analytics Engineer contract opportunity to work with a leading London based Tech organisation.
The Lead Data Analytics Engineer contract is mainly remote with occasional visits to the London office (as in 2 days a month)
The Lead Data Analytics Engineer contract is Outside IR35.
As Lead Data Analytics Engineer you will lead the design and build of data pipelines, warehouse/lakehouse structures and datasets focussed on the Gold layer of Fabric related service projects. Working closely with the Data, Analytics and Power BI Engineers/Analysts the Lead Data Analytics Engineer will shape and own the data life cycle. The Lead Data Analytics Engineer will also own scalable RTL/ELT workflows, gold layer datasets and govern LH/WH medallion architecture. Strong SQL, Fabric, Python/PySpark and in depth Lakehouse, Warehouse etc is essential as Lead Data Analytics Engineer. Good Power BI skills as also required as Lead Data Analytics Engineer as is some data security controls (RLS/OLS) An understanding of Data Governance is also required as Lead Data Analytics Engineer with any Purview or similar being preferred. As Lead Data Analytics Engineer any experience within Insurance, Financial Services or Banking is highly desirable but not essential.
