Cyber Security Engineer

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of cyber software measures related to automotive security
• Capture requirements through analysis of threats and cyber goals
• Identify and approve appropriate cyber security measures and solutions
• Review and assess component validation plans for compliance and effectiveness
• Organize and allocate resources for validation activities
• Create and execute test plans for both internal and third-party validation activities including penetration and fuzz testing
• Implement monitoring and maintenance strategies for post-production cyber security measures

• Security, We are Murray McIntosh, actively seeking an Automotive Cyber Security Engineer to work with a key client on a 12-month contract. • Sound understanding of cyber software measures (encryption key management, CAN message authentication, hardware implementations like HSM, etc)
• Experience in requirements capture, including Threat analysis, Attack Tree, TARA, Cyber Goals, and Cyber requirements
• Proven ability to lead in identifying suitable cyber measures and approving proposed solutions
• Experience in reviewing component validation plans and organizing resources to support validation
• Ability to generate test plans and deliver internal and third-party machine validation activities like penetration and fuzz testing
• Experience in commissioning suitable post-production measures such as monitoring and long-term maintenance
