Job description

  • Provide 3rd line support for networking, servers, database platforms, and other systems administration areas.
  • Support will be provided 24/7 all year round, including participation in the out-of-hour rota cover (1-week-in-4).
  • Collaborate with the IT team to deliver technical systems administration support for On-Prem and Cloud provisions used by the business.
  • Troubleshoot complex projects that may arise in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Extensive, demonstrable experience in IT Systems Engineering including work in 3rd line support.
  • Experience with networking (TCP / IP, DNS, protocols, routers, firewalls, latency, packet loss) and Windows Server systems administration (Active Directory, PowerShell, GPOs).
  • Additional experience with Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, Apache2, OpenSSL) would be desirable.
  • Experience with large databases (SQL Server or Oracle) would be beneficial.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and project leadership/initiative would be an asset.
