Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a site-based contract in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong virtualisation and storage expertise to support a busy infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimise the on-premise infrastructure environment
- Support and administer Hyper-V and VMware virtualisation platforms
- Maintain and monitor Nimble Storage systems
- Provide technical support across servers, networking, and storage
- Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning
- Contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvements and upgrades
- Ensure systems are secure, stable, and aligned with operational requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Hyper-V
- Solid experience supporting VMware environments
- Practical experience working with Nimble Storage
- Proven track record in infrastructure operations and support
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively on-site within a collaborative team
