Job description
- Lead the integration of various subsystems (hardware and software) into cohesive flight simulation systems.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement integration procedures.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions for seamless system performance.
- Maintain and optimize system configurations for improved operational efficiency.
- Define and execute test plans to verify system performance, functionality, and safety.
- Ensure all systems meet regulatory standards and performance metrics for certification.
- Create and conduct test procedures to validate flight simulation systems.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the acceptance phase.
- Conduct customer-specific system tests and demonstrations for system readiness.
- Provide technical support and training for ongoing system maintenance.

Requirements
- Proficiency in system integration, hardware/software interfaces, and performance testing.
- Ability with simulation software tools, modelling languages, and simulation platforms (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, RTOS).
- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
- Strong troubleshooting ability, root cause analysis, and system diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving complex systems issues under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of flight simulation systems such as FFS (Full Flight Simulators) or FTD (Flight Training Devices) is desirable.
- Prior experience working directly with customers during system acceptance testing is highly desirable.
- Certification or training in INCOSE Systems Engineering practices is a plus.
- Exposure to agile or hybrid development methodologies is beneficial.
