Senior Software Engineer

You'll be involved in the full development lifecycle, enhancing and maintaining Windows-based software applications used in scientific research. You'll also liaise with external partners and help support existing users of the software. This is a hands-on role that blends technical depth with autonomy and real impact and would suit someone who has worked in small businesses to make an impact., * Provide software support to researchers and scientific users

• Collaborate with third-party companies to ensure smooth hardware/software integration
• Develop, maintain, and improve Windows applications in C++ using MFC and STL

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (BEng/BSc)
• Proven experience of developing Windows-based applications in C++ using MFC and STL
• Experience with Visual Studio development environment

Desirable Skills

• Scientific background
• Experience with embedded systems programming, especially on ARM architecture
• Familiarity with Matlab or Python
