Senior ICT Consultant - Education

• Handle 2nd/3rd line issues and respond to ICT emergencies and school complaints
• Resolve and manage technical issues affecting the schools operations by providing robust solutions
• Offer internal network support
• Support and mentor 1st/2nd line support roles
• Enforce and monitor compliance with school policies
• Deliver internal staff training
• Lead the installation or repair of computers, standardised applications, and networking software, while diagnosing and solving operational problems
• Manage a wide range of technical duties related to the computer network and desktop services, focusing on existing installations and upgrades (including desktop computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns, and hardware)

• DevOps, We are looking for a Senior ICT Consultant to join our team in High Wycombe, with a salary range of £30,000 - £35,000. This role involves supporting a Trust of primary schools, acting as a liaison to ensure that they are informed about our products and services. You will manage customer accounts and maintain IT hardware and software across the school sites, helping to enhance their ICT provision and enabling them to deliver effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.

• Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Operating Systems
• Familiarity with Virtualisation Technologies, particularly HyperV
• Experience with Cloud Technologies, including Office365/Azure
• Proven experience leading installations of servers and networks
• Ability to make proactive decisions in ICT emergencies
• Outstanding customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication
• Flexible, adaptable, friendly, and approachable demeanor
• Excellent team player with the capability to work independently and manage time effectively
