Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer seeking a Full time role within a modern, technology consultancy. You'll work on impactful client projects, building scalable, cloud-native infrastructure while expanding your skills across automation, IaC, and modern DevOps practices. Lead Cloud/DevOps Engineer Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Support the operation of distributed systems, ensuring reliability, performance and security.
  • Contribute coding expertise in languages such as Python, Go or JavaScript.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams, providing clarity and technical guidance throughout delivery.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues using structured debugging and problem-solving approaches.
  • Promote cloud-native best practices and modern DevOps tooling within engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern technical stacks.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling and automation platforms.
  • Practical programming experience in at least one mainstream language (Python, Go, JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security principles and distributed systems.
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Strong leadership skills and mentorship experience
  • Strong communication, teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, able to work effectively in evolving, complex environments.
