About the Role: Join a dynamic team safeguarding the health and stability of a major Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) system vital for operations. As a System Operations Analyst, you'll be the first point of escalation during any system failures. Your calm demeanor, strong judgment, and clear communication will be key in high-pressure situations. Extensive training will equip you to operate independently in a control-room environment, where accuracy and situational awareness are paramount.
Training & Onboarding: Kickstart your career with a structured 9 month training program in Warwick, featuring:
- Hands-on learning from day one.
- Daily, overnight, and weekend handover procedures.
- Exposure to complex national systems and operational processes.
After training, the role shifts to Wokingham with a rotating shift pattern of 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.
Requirements
A broad technical grounding is essential:
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, Linux-based systems, and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and Wintel/Unix environments.
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles.
Cloud experience is a plus but not mandatory; exposure will be gained as the organization transitions to new technologies., * Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Confidence in engaging with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong situational awareness and multi-tasking abilities.
- High resilience and composure during urgent issues.

- Degree-educated (preferred) in a relevant technical field.
