Job description

Mandatory skill: Java / React, GCP, DevOps experience and experience of lead/design. seeking an experienced engineer to lead a Feature Team delivering features on our flagship Marketplace products. The role sits within the API Lab and will be central to implementing software-engineering best practices, shaping our API strategy, and driving high-quality delivery. The engineer will work within Agile frameworks to iterate rapidly and provide continuous feedback.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a Feature Team contributing to our flagship Marketplace products.
  • Apply and champion software-engineering best practices within the API Lab.
  • Build solutions aligned to our wider technical strategy.
  • Collaborate in Agile environments to optimise delivery processes and accelerate iteration cycles.

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Strong background in software engineering, with the ability to design and implement high-quality solutions.

  • Solid programming experience with React, CSS, HTML, TypeScript, Node.js (one or more).
  • Deep experience building and managing API solutions including REST, GraphQL, and microservices.
  • Exposure to API Management Platforms (e.g., ApigeeX, API Connect, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and building secure, resilient solutions.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider: GCP, Azure, or AWS (essential).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
