Data Architect

You'll be the go-to expert for data architecture, supporting projects from concept to delivery while ensuring compliance with data governance, standards, and frameworks. The role offers significant exposure to advanced analytics, AI and Machine Learning, making it ideal for candidates looking to shape the future of Defence data solutions., * Lead data architecture across high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with business and operational objectives

• Assess existing data environments and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimisation
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, standards, and frameworks
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements
• Maintain data governance, documentation, and architecture artefacts
• Stay up to date with industry trends, providing recommendations on modernisation and future technologies

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, ideally in Defence, Government, or high-security environments
• Strong understanding of data modelling, governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration, cloud platforms, and data modernisation initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Eligible for SC clearance or already holding SC
