Job description

We are seeking a Test Equipment Engineer / Electronics Test Engineer to design, develop, and support production test equipment and inspection systems used in the manufacture of precision electronic sensors. This is a hands-on electronics engineering role involving embedded systems, analogue and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and test software development.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver reliable, repeatable, and well-documented automated test and calibration equipment.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop electronic test equipment for production and inspection

· Develop microcontroller-based test systems (embedded hardware and firmware)

· Design and debug analogue and digital circuits

· Write and maintain embedded C firmware and C# PC-based test software

· Create and maintain automated test systems and calibration fixtures

· Provide technical support for in-house developed test equipment

· Fault-find and repair hardware and software issues on production equipment

· Produce technical documentation including schematics, test procedures, and user guides

· Support continuous improvement of production test processes and equipment

Requirements

Do you have experience in Debugging?, · HNC / HND in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)

· 4+ years' experience in electronics engineering, test engineering, or production test

· Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems

· Strong knowledge of analogue electronics and digital electronics

· Programming experience in C (embedded) and C#

· Practical experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators)

· Experience with PCB schematic capture and PCB layout

· Strong debugging and fault-finding skills in both hardware and software

Desirable Skills (Highly Advantageous)

· Assembly language programming

· Experience with automated test equipment (ATE)

· Experience with sensor technology, calibration, or measurement systems

· Manufacturing or production engineering experience
