Job description
As a Back-End Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain back-end applications and integration services. You'll work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the overall software architecture.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in .NET with C#
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET
- Expertise in async/await, OOP, and SOLID principles
- Experience with ORM: Entity Framework or NHibernate
- Strong API development skills: REST or gRPC
- Experience using OpenAPI/Swagger
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL/MySQL)
- Version control experience: Git or similar SCM tools
Testing & Quality
- Experience with unit testing
- Familiarity with mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq, NSubstitute)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Collaborative mindset with Agile experience
- Proficiency in English (Dutch or French is a plus)
Educational Requirements
- A degree in a technical field OR
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in back-end development and integration services
