Our client is a global semiconductor manufacturer specializing in ultra-low-power integrated circuits for wireless, IoT, and embedded applications across consumer, industrial, and automotive markets. With strong in-house R&D and production capabilities, the company develops advanced SoC, MCU, ASIC, and wireless solutions used worldwide.
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Wireless Software Engineer to drive advanced wireless application development, with a strong focus on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and embedded firmware for semiconductor platforms.
This is a hands-on technical role working closely with R&D, Product Management, and Field Application teams to develop reference applications, SDKs, demo kits, and advanced customer use cases. You will contribute across the full lifecycle-from firmware and driver development to system integration, validation, and customer deployment.
This is a replacement role driven by upcoming retirements and offers long-term growth within a stable, engineering-led organization., * Develop advanced wireless applications (BLE) including hardware, software, and test aspects
- Design application-specific PSPs (demo kits, SDKs, demo use cases)
- Write embedded application code and test drivers (radio, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, timers, RTC, etc.)
- Collaborate with BU R&D and Product Managers to define and implement advanced features
- Support deployment of advanced application use cases with customers
- Train Field Application Engineers and provide direct technical customer support
- Perform competitive analysis and benchmarking
- Participate in regular technical reviews and progress reporting
- Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly team meetings
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on embedded software development experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Assembly, and Python
- Experience with RTOS or equivalent real-time task schedulers
- Proven background in wireless applications for semiconductor platforms (SoC, MCU, IoT, ASIC)
- Firmware development experience for radio controllers and stack-based embedded systems
- Strong understanding of wireless protocols: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), IEEE 802.15.4, and proprietary protocols
- Experience developing and integrating advanced applications on specific hardware platforms
- Hardware design exposure with lab bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting experience
