Job description

This role sits at the intersection of advisory, strategy and delivery, perfect for someone who thrives on shaping vision and guiding clients through complex data challenges. From enabling AI-ready data foundations to embedding ethical governance for advanced analytics, you'll help organisations unlock the full potential of their data.

  • We ADVISE on data, analytics and AI strategy - You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping vision and defining AI-driven data management strategies, articulating the business benefits of robust governance, quality and MDM capabilities.
  • We TRANSLATE complexity into clarity - You will guide and influence senior stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical concepts and business priorities to secure buy-in and drive cultural change toward data-driven outcomes.
  • We DESIGN operating models - You will define and design elements of the data management operating model, including roles, processes, standards and stewardship frameworks, embedding these into client organisations.
  • We ENABLE trusted AI and analytics - You will support the discovery and design of data governance, data quality and master data management solutions that ensure compliance, transparency and ethical AI practices.
  • We COLLABORATE for impact - You will work alongside business leaders, developers, architects and data scientists to ensure governance, quality and compliance are integrated into technical solutions and AI products.
  • We LEAD and DEVELOP talent (Senior Consultant Level) - You will lead workstreams, coach junior colleagues and shape best practices across accounts, contributing to thought leadership and capability development in data and AI foundations.

Requirements

As a member of the Data & AI Strategy Team you'll be part of the future of AI consulting. We look for individuals who align with our core values, are creative problem solvers and have a genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies. You'll be passionate about helping organisations unlock the potential of AI not just through technical delivery, but by driving strategic change.

Below are some of the key skills and experiences we look for in candidates. We don't expect you to hit every point - we want to build a team which has diverse backgrounds, perspectives and strengths.

  • Strong advisory skills, stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing data management, governance, or MDM solutions (consulting or industry).
  • Practical experience identifying and deploying of at least one data management or governance tool, such as: Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, Microsoft Purview.
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate prior project experience where they led or contributed to data management initiatives - e.g., data catalogue implementation, data lineage mapping, master data consolidation, data quality, metadata management or data lineage.
  • Experience defining and operationalising data stewardship roles and responsibilities within federated or centralised data governance models.

Desirable:

  • Experience in AI-related data preparation, data management use case identification, AI governance or Responsible AI frameworks.
  • Understanding of model lifecycle management, bias detection and explainability.
  • Familiarity with DMBOK framework.

Data management is a broad field and therefore we're looking to hear from people with diverse skillsets. You should apply if you have experience in one of the following roles: analyst, data engineer, data architect and specialists that have expertise in areas such as metadata management and master data management.
