Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Data Manager to join our team!
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of Data Management and Data Presentation skills, with a strong background in being successful working in a School or Educational based Data Background environment.
This role requires effective planning, data mapping and information system management abilities to assist our successful Academic support function and support our outstanding nursery to sixth form curriculum .
Success in Power BI is advantageous.
Our Data Manager will work closely with the SLT, Academic Curriculum and other departments to develop our commerciality and support our school ethos and goals., Indicative Duties are but not limited to:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the School's MIS, ensuring data accuracy, security, and integrity.
- Prepare and configure the MIS for the start of each academic year.
- Coordinate transitions of student records between Key Stages.
- Work with the Registrar to ensure timely import of data for new pupils.

The Person
Based onsite for 37.5 hours a week with a mutually agreed working pattern, with occasional event commitments, the successful candidate will support the team in delivering an impactful supplier, parent, and student experience that enhances the school's brand, reputation, and vision.
Working across multiple platforms and tasks, you will ensure that our Data provision is consistent, high-quality, and safe, while maintaining an exceptional safeguarding.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, We would welcome applications from all Data Management backgrounds who feel they could be successful in the role, however previous experience in a school would be advantageous., * Direct Data Management Experience, preferably in a school environment.
- Previous Success of working with MIS systems, preferably with SIMs
- A Strong background in Data, Excel and Power BI
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as a team, being supportive to colleagues and delegating, as necessary.
- Ability to work safely with hazardous equipment and chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong ICT skills and a readiness to use new technologies
- The ability to liaise professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to work accurately at speed, safe and under pressure
Benefits & conditions
Full time - 37.50 Hours per week, 5 days a week, Onsite (There is no working from home provision in this role)
Term Time Plus 3 weeks
FTE of role £39,882.00 -£43,090.00 (Pro-rata)
Due to the nature of the role and the current team timetable, we are happy to have conversations with the successful candidate to mutually agree on a working pattern, Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,355.00-£35,201.00 per year
