Job description
Currently our NL Datawarehouse solution is on-prem and this solution reaches its end of lifecycle by latest March 2027 - our ETL Tool Informatica Power Center will be decommissioned. For that reason, there is the need to plan a Transition Architecture Landscape to ensure continuous ability to deliver further reporting beyond March 2027. The goal is to transform the Datawarehouse into a cloud based solution.
As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the migration of the current on premise data warehouse solution to a cloud-based data warehouse according to the guidelines of the central architecture team.
You'll work full time (40 hours) and your position is based in Rijswijk. You are part of an international project team collaborating with team members in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Responsibilities
Build and operate data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS). Implement scalable architecture (e.g. data lakes, data warehouses). Collaborate with international process partners on target data architecture. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR).
Requirements
Strong experience with SQL and data modeling. Experience with Python, Tableau. Hands-on experience with data integration and orchestration tooling (e.g. IDMC, DBT, Glue). Proficient in Dutch and business English, both in writing and speaking. German is an advantage. CV in ENGLISH
Preferred: Creative and results oriented. Pro-active and self-steering. Cooperative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
