Job description
We are looking for a talented UI Technical Artist with a deep mastery of the Unity UI pipeline to help our teams deliver polished, high-performance, and visually stunning interfaces. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of UI assets, ensuring that our menus, HUDs, and buttons are not only pixel-perfect but also highly optimized for millions of mobile devices.
- Build and maintain robust UI prefabs in Unity, ensuring they are scalable, reusable, and easy for engineers to hook into game logic.
- Implement 9-slicing (9-scale grids) and complex layout systems to ensure UI elements adapt seamlessly to various mobile aspect ratios and resolutions.
- Manage and optimize UI assets, including sprite importing, texture compression settings, and the creation of Sprite Atlases to minimize draw calls and memory overhead.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designers to translate static mockups (Figma/Photoshop) into functional Unity layouts while maintaining visual fidelity.
- Work with Software Engineers to define UI architectures that support dynamic content and localized text.
- Polish the user experience by setting up UI animations, particle effects, and transitions within Unity.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Unity?, * Experience: 3-5+ years as a UI Technical Artist or UI Developer / Integrator in the mobile gaming industry.
- Unity Expert: Advanced proficiency in UGUI (Unity UI) and/or UI Toolkit.
- Optimization Specialist: Deep understanding of Sprite Atlases, draw-call reduction, and mobile performance constraints.
- Detail-Oriented: A "pixel-perfect" mindset with a focus on 9-slicing accuracy and layout alignment.
- Technical Literacy: Good understanding in C# (specifically for UI component logic and animations) and version control (Git).
- Workflow Knowledge: Experience with UI design tools (Figma, Photoshop, or Adobe XD) and the technical process of exporting assets for Unity.
- Problem Solver: Skilled at identifying layout bottlenecks and implementing responsive design solutions for a wide range of mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Strong Communication: Ability to act as the "bridge" between the Art and Engineering departments, explaining technical limitations to designers and visual requirements to coders.
- Experience with Shaders (Shader Graph) or VFX Graph for UI effects is a major plus.
- Experience with Localization pipelines for global mobile titles is a plus.
