Design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of modern IT and OT infrastructures, including networks, servers, and virtualized environments
Engineering and cybersecurity support for complex building automation and critical infrastructure projects, such as:

Large commercial and industrial buildings
Utility and infrastructure facilities
Safety- and security-critical environments (HVAC, fire safety, access control, surveillance systems)

Configuration, operation, and maintenance of network components and firewalls (routers, switches, access points, firewalls, VPNs)
Integration and securing of OT systems (building automation, HVAC, security systems) within IT network architectures
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows client and server environments
Administration of Active Directory, including user, group, and Group Policy management
Design and management of network architectures, including VLANs, Layer 3 routing, QoS, and redundancy concepts
Participation in cybersecurity projects, including technical risk analyses, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening
Development, documentation, and quality assurance of IT/OT systems
Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendors and system integrators

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, IEEE 802.11)
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions
Solid understanding of Windows-based environments and Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, cloud-based environments) and storage systems
Knowledge of IT and OT security principles, including system hardening and secure architecture design
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO, NIST, IEC 62443)
Ability to define and apply security policies and perform risk assessments
Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive working style
Professional proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
